Verse 1 – Meaning

Om. Salutations to Vighnaraja (the king, or lord, of obstacles), who bestows all happiness and comfort (sarva-saukhya-pradāyine). Salutations to him who destroys the wicked and the inauspicious (duṣṭa-ariṣṭa-vināśāya), who is the Supreme (parāya) and the Supreme Self (paramātmane).

Verse 2 – Meaning

He is Lambodara (the big-bellied one), of great valour (mahā-vīrya), shining with a serpent worn as his sacred thread (nāga-yajñopaśobhita). He wears the half-moon (ardha-candra-dhara), is a deva (divine being), and destroys whole hosts of obstacles (vighna-vyūha-vināśana).

Verse 3 – Meaning

Om, followed by the seed (bīja) syllables hrāṃ hrīṃ hrūṃ hraiṃ hrauṃ hraḥ: repeated salutations to Heramba (heramba-ya namo namaḥ). You are the giver of one's own success (sva-siddhi-prada); may you be the giver of Siddhi (accomplishment) and Buddhi (wisdom) (siddhi-buddhi-prado bhava).

Lakshmi Ganapathi Meaning

The word “Ganapati” means the lord of the ganas, and “Lakshmi” stands for wealth, fortune and auspiciousness. Lakshmi Ganapati is the form of Ganapati who not only removes obstacles but is also worshipped to bless devotees with prosperity. He is commonly listed as the twelfth of the 32 forms of Ganapati and is described as seated with his consorts Siddhi (accomplishment) and Buddhi (wisdom).

The stotram follows this idea. The first verse salutes him as Vighnaraja, the giver of every comfort. The second describes his form.
